Former beauty pageant winner Jessica Whalley passed away yesterday at the stables owned by former Liverpool and England footballer Michael Owen.
When horsewoman Whalley, 25, collapsed and could not be revived by rescuers, witnesses claim that Owen and staff at Manor House Stables were in tears.
Jessica Whalley: Who is she?
Jessica Whalley, a former beauty queen and horsewoman, was born in 1998. She passed away on March 28, 2023, at the stables owned by former England and Liverpool star Michael Owen. She participated in the 2019 Miss Tourism Universe pageant, which was held in Beirut and broadcast on MTV, where she finished in the top 10.
Observers report that Owen and the staff at Manor House Stables were in tears when Whalley, who had fainted at the age of 25, could not be revived by rescuers.
At the stables near Malpas, Cheshire, operated by the former striker’s daughter, the 19-year-old Love Island actress Gemma Owen, she worked as the transport manager. Her employees addressed her as Jess. At the scene, she was pronounced deceased.
In addition to working for Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, who is the owner of a vast global network of thoroughbred stables, Whalley designated herself as the “traveling head person” at Manor House Stables.
In official documents issued this month by the Office of the Traffic Commissioner, she is identified as one of the transport managers at Manor House Stables.
Manor House Stables sent out a statement saying: “It is with great sadness that we must inform you that a highly valued member of our team passed away at work this morning. The team at Manor House has been informed, and the family and team ask for privacy at this time.
