Elio Cumana-Rivas, 32, a victim of the Texas shooting, has been named by the DPS.
Cumana-Rivas lived in Dallas, according to DPS.
Eight people were killed in the incident, and at least seven more people were hurt.
The gunman, 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, was shot and killed by a police officer who happened to be nearby.
Garcia reportedly belonged to far-right organizations, according to some reports.
