    Senator Jimoh Ibrahim Reiterate His Support To The Newly Appointed Ikale North Caretaker Committee

    Senator Jimoh Ibrahim Reiterate His Support To The Newly Appointed Ikale North Caretaker Committee

    On 6th December, 2023, Hon Oluwafemi Ayejusunle; the newly appointed caretaker chairman of
    Ikale North local council Development Area resumed office and embark on a familiarization tour
    to the traditional leaders of the communities which constitutes the LCDA amongst which are
    Igbotako and Erekiti. The tour was part of the chairman ongoing efforts to strengthen
    partnerships and collaborations with traditional leaders within the area.

    The caretaker chairman has been a strong advocate for engaging with traditional leaders and
    recognizing their important role in the area. This visits provide opportunity to discuss various
    issues and initiatives that are important to both council and the traditional leaders. It also allow
    for the sharing of ideas and perspectives on how best to work together for the benefit of the
    local communities.

    Senator Jimoh Ibrahim Reiterate His Support To The Newly Appointed Ikale North Caretaker Committee

    His first visit was to His Royal Majesty, Oba Shadrack Gbadebo Bajowa, Lubokun IV, Rebuja of
    Osooro Kingdom. The caretaker chairman acknowledge the presence of other monarchs, party
    leaders of Osooro and also took time to introduce personalities from his home town (Ode Aye). In his words, the caretaker chairman showcase high level of brilliance and diplomacy before the
    monarchs saying he is a young man who has not come to advise them rather to seek advice
    from them. “I am more interested in the letter ‘D’ of the acronym LCDA that signifies
    DEVELOPMENT which is not accidental but a product of determination” said the caretaker
    Chairman.

    In his remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Shadrack Gbadebo Bajowa, Lubokun IV, Rebuja of
    Osooro Kingdom acknowledge the agility and vibrancy in the chairman and pledge on behalf of
    the three Obas present and other members of the communities in Osooro kingdom that the
    caretaker chairman will always have their full support needed in running the affairs of the LCDA
    vibrantly. He also shared some historical backgrounds and admonished the caretaker chairman
    to practice all inclusive government and say some words of prayers.

    The caretaker chairman then proceed to the residence of Sen. (Dr.) Jimoh Ibrahim Folorunso
    who is representing Ondo South senatorial district in national assembly. As a very foresight
    person, Sen. (Dr.) Jimoh Ibrahim emphasized on the secretariat which is currently under
    construction.As a very important factor for the smooth running the administration, Sen. (Dr.)
    Jimoh Ibrahim charged the engineer in charge of the construction to hasten the whole process. Meanwhile, he donated a building in his university to be used temporarily before the completion
    of the secretariat.

    Sen. (Dr.) Jimoh Ibrahim also charge the caretaker committee to make impact within six month
    of operation and ensure to form synergy with the traditional rulers of the communities under the
    area. He also took time to show the caretaker committee round the donated temporary building
    where he showed some facilities that will allow for their efficiency and effective governance
    within the period of use. While he was on the course of showing the caretaker committee round
    their temporary office, he mentioned the need to have an area offices in strategic communities
    which involves Ode Aye and Erekiti respectively.

    On behalf of the caretaker committee, the secretary of the committee Comr. Kowe Olugbenga
    express gratitude to the senator and appreciate his kind gesture towards humanity.

    In the same vein, caretaker chairman visited Erekiti palace to pay homage to the king HRH Oba
    Christoper Omoboboye Kowe who was said to be unavoidably absent.

    In the meantime the chairman also took time to inspect the ongoing construction of the
    proposed secretariat. This inspection marks his first official inspection since he took the role as
    the caretaker chairman. He also met with the Engineer in charge of the construction to gain a
    comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day operations on the site.

    The caretaker chairman also visited the police divisional headquarter in Igbotako to show
    support to the men and women in the blue uniform who has been working tirelessly to keep the
    community safe but unfortunately, the D.P.O. was not on seat due to a meeting in Okitipupa
    town.

    After concluding the official tour in Osooro kingdom, the caretaker chairman returned to his
    home town (Ode Aye) where party leaders and his loyalists were waiting for his arrival. He
    received warm welcome from his people in his father’s residence.
