On August 30, 2007, Roy Oliver Crain of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away. Roy attends the Cabot Mt. Tabor Methodist Church. From 1976 to 1981, he served as a veteran of the US Navy’s NMCB 74. Roy was born on October 16, 1955, to Thelma Lee Brockett and Ray Alvin Crain in Ukiah, California.
Prior to Roy, both of his parents and sister, Wanda Sue Vanlandingham, died. He leaves behind his daughter Nicole Ann Crane of Cabot, Arkansas, and his wife of 24 years, Michelle Ann Crane of Cabot, Arkansas. Jim Crane, a brother from Blue Springs, Missouri, and Donna Markley, a sister from Independence, Missouri, are more family members. There are also a large number of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and acquaintances.
At 2:00 pm, there will be a funeral. Cabot’s Mount Tabor Methodist Church on September 3, 2007. At the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas, a funeral service will be held. The funeral home will be open for viewings on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Contact Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home at (501) 843-5816 to make arrangements. The family asked for donations to go to either the Cabot, Arkansas-based Mount Tabor Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
