Before Mike Perez took over three years ago, the Latino Golf Classic was already a 19-year-old yearly event.
Mike took up the leadership of the event and continued the legacy of the tournament of bringing people together through golf to make a difference. Mike also raised money for the Laramie Community College Scholarship.

“I think email and text messages are a really cool feature,” he said. A significant advantage, he continued, is “sending emails to players and then texting them when the tournament is approaching, you just send those messages… to remind them that the tournament is coming.”
