We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of former captain Michael Basso, McAfee Fire Department announced via a social media post on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
“He was a kind, smart, motivated person and a great friend. We want to send our condolences to his family and wife, and hope they may find peace knowing he is resting easy now. We will miss you brother, we’ve got it from here. RIP.”
Michael’s cause of death was not immediately mentioned. He will be sorely missed by family, friends and many who knew him.
