According to the authorities, two people were shot twice outside a convenience shop in Long County, and both of them died as a result.
At around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the event happened at a Parker’s Kitchen that was situated at the crossroads of East Cypress and McDonald streets in Ludowici.
According to the authorities, Tashika Lashon Jones, 47, of Savannah, and Marquel Maurice Williams, 32, of Pembroke were both flown to Memorial Health in critical condition.
According to the findings of the investigation, Williams shot Jones before shooting himself.
Williams sadly died away on Wednesday night.

Approximately 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a couple pulled into the Parkers gas station on Cypress Street, according to Ludowici Police Chief Robert Parker. According to Parker, who used the security system of the business to record the incident, a man got out of the car he was a passenger in, brandished a revolver while standing on the passenger side, and then quickly fired one round at the woman in the driver’s seat, striking her in the head. The man then fired while aiming the gun at his head.
The man was sent to Liberty Regional in Hinesville while the woman was taken to Wayne Memorial in Jesup. Later, they were both taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, where it is unknown how they are doing.
Parker, who resisted giving a reason for the shooting, claimed he could not categorize it as a domestic dispute. The man had identification from Bryan county, and the woman had an address in Chatham county.
