Julie Jensen Death – Julie met her soulmate and 32-year companion, Eric Jensen, on October 13, 1990, by chance. They met and fell in love in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and were married on May 25, 1991, at Sacred Heart Parish in Baudette, Minnesota. Andrew (32), Maria (29) (Connor Nilson), Joseph (26), Magdalen (24), Marta (22), Katerina (20), James (17), Jack (15), and Anika (12) were the nine children that Julie and Eric would spend their voyage with. Julie’s love for her children knew no limits, and her role as a mother became the focal point of her existence.
Julie and Eric created a life based on faith, love, and an unshakable commitment despite joys and tribulations. Julie’s unrelenting devotion to her family and unfailing support became the cornerstone of their household. Her husband, her kids, and future generations will all be affected by her legacy as a loving mother and loyal wife. Julie’s fortitude and tenacity were evident as she accepted her breast cancer diagnosis. She battled bravely for two years with her family’s resolute support at every turn. In addition to her physical struggle with the illness, Julie’s path was distinguished by her strong spiritual and emotional qualities.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre on Wednesday, December 27, at 11 a.m., in Julie’s memory. Rev. Andrew Dudzinski will provide a consecration, officiating with Rev. Jeremy Theis. The burial will take place in West Union’s St. Alexius Cemetery. On Wednesday, the church will be open for visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a prayer of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends will be able to come together during this time of gathering to provide consolation and share priceless memories of a life well lived.
