Wherever he worked, Bill Schurman was a superb communicator and a pillar of the community, starting with the small town of Bedeque when he was in his twenties. He was one of the best promoters Summerside and probably all of PEI had ever had on their side, if not the best. In the future, the city ought to give him some kind of honor.
